KHOZESTAN

Khuzestan is a historic province in southwestern Iran known for its ancient civilizations, major rivers, and diverse culture. It has been one of the oldest centers of human civilization, with many valuable archaeological sites from ancient times. Cities such as Ahvaz, famous for the Karun River and its bridges, and Shush, one of the most important historical cities in Iran, form a key part of the province’s identity.
