Afshin Sigma began his journey in graffiti in 2008 in Rasht, Iran. In 2011, he founded the “Sefid” group, one of the early and influential graffiti collectives in the city. In 2012, the group organized Rasht’s first street graffiti exhibition, executing 13 large-scale pieces across urban spaces an important step in introducing graffiti as a public art form.

In 2013, due to pressure and restrictions from security authorities, the group was forced to disband. Despite this setback, Afshin continued his path independently. In 2015, he marked his return to graffiti by holding the “Baftography” exhibition, re-establishing his presence in the scene.

Since then, he has consistently pursued his work, creating over 100 graffiti pieces across urban environments. His work reflects personal experience, urban culture, and social identity expressed through a raw and direct visual language on city walls.
